  11. All non-alphanumeric shortcuts are more or less ambiguous. Ctrl-+ is
  12. simply Ctrl-+ on a German keyboard, but it involves pressing the shift
  13. key on a UK keyboard (Shift-Ctrl-=). It gets worse for chars which are
  14. only available through an alt- combination. At least shortcuts requiring
  15. ctrl-alt- for some keyboard layout should not be in the guidelines IMO.

  17. In the case of * + - 0 it shouldn't be a problem to accept the normal
  18. keys as well as the numpad equivalents. However, the current proposal
  19. does make the distinction between numpad and normal keys.
